As fans of great coffee, we were excited to help build a “pop-up” Café / Showroom for Aria Bay – a special boutique lifestyle retirement community development in Browns Bay, Auckland. Our client fitted the portable building out as a showroom, sales office and cafe, complete with a sunny deck and seating – and also made it open to the public. Supplied as a 12m x 3m unit with three windows and three bi-fold doors, it was a very heavy portable building – but we were proud to deliver and install it safely earlier this year.

Just days before the COVID-19 lockdown, we were approached and asked if we could help supply additional consulting rooms to a doctors surgery for urgent COVID-19 testing. We’re really proud of Jake and Tom from the Just Sheds team… who went for “a bit of a swim” and swam from Motiti Island to Papamoa! In straight line that’s just over 9kms, but we think by the time they zig-zagged around the current it would have been closer to a 12km swim. Great stuff boys – just like your SLSNZ support crew and the team at Just Sheds – you’re always going the extra mile!

Our annual NZIOB Golf Day really was tee-rific “Olympic-sized” fun… even though we didn’t put on an Olympic performance. While it was a very hot day, we’re not blaming the heat for our scorecard… we had some hot competition on the course who deserved to beat us, but we did score some wine as our booby prize. Hopefully our fishing skills won’t be on a par with our golfing skills in the upcoming fishing competition…!
